In accordance with the State of Wisconsin Dog Licensing and Control Ordinance, Town of Caledonia dog owners are required to purchase a license yearly for any dog(s) over 5 months of age. Failure to license a a dog could result in additional fines and/or fees.
Licenses can be purchased December – January from the Town of Caledonia Treasurer when you pay your real estate taxes or during the entire year at the Trempealeau County Treasurer’s Office.
Owners of rental properties or mobile home parks in the Town of Caledonia are required to provide this information to all tenants.
License Fees
- Spayed or Neutered Dog – $3
- Unaltered Dog – $8
- Kennel License (maximum 12 dogs) – $35, each additional tag $3
**$5 late fee for licenses purchased after March 31
Dog License Application
To request a Dog License, please submit the following, by mail to the Town of Caledonia Clerk-Treasurer:
- a completed Dog License Application,
- a copy of current rabies vaccination information provided by a licensed veterinarian, and
- applicable fee(s).
